Bio:
Sima Thakkar is a lifelong activist with more than two decades of experience in communications, marketing, and public policy. Her work spans music education, refugee rights, and efforts to expand equitable access to technology, with a consistent focus on advancing inclusive systems and long-term systemic change. She brings a strong background in music and arts programming, which she views as essential to community healing and collective transformation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Indiana University and a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. In her free time, she enjoys making chai for loved ones, playing tennis, and spending time in nature.
