Guitar Instrument Exploration 2026

Have a music-loving child who’s interested in the guitar? Come try it out! This fun introductory workshop is designed to give kids the chance to explore the guitar and learn all about Merit’s programming. Get ready for faculty demonstrations, a lesson in guitar basics, and plenty of time to experiment at this hands-on, exploratory workshop.

Attendees new to Merit will have the opportunity to sign up for classes with a special 15% discount.

Required age: 9 – 12 years old on the day of the activity.
