She also holds a Master of Music in clarinet performance from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in music from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York.

At Merit, Dr. Campbell teaches clarinet technique and directs the clarinet ensemble for the Alice S. Pfaelzer Tuition-free Conservatory, and conducts private lessons. She also teaches clarinet and serves as Director of Applied Studies at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago.

An accomplished performer, Dr. Campbell has been a guest recitalist at numerous colleges and universities, and at festivals in the U.S. and abroad. Her orchestral experience includes performing at the opening ceremonies of the Bastille Opera House in Paris. She has played with a number of large ensembles, including the South Bend Symphony, the Lake Forest Symphony, and the Bloomington Camerata Orchestra.
