Bio:
Originally from Falls Church, Virginia, Samantha is an active freelance musician in the Chicago metropolitan area. Her fundamental playing technique is rooted in Karen Tuttle coordination (like The Alexander Technique). She is committed to furthering her knowledge and passing on these techniques to the next generation of musicians. She has performed orchestral, chamber, and solo music in Japan, Europe, and around the U.S. in Virginia, Texas, North Carolina, and in the mountains of Vermont at various music festivals.
Samantha has performed extensively with many great ensembles including the National Orchestral Institute (2019) and the University of North Texas Symphony Orchestra (2016-18).
When she is not playing or teaching, Samantha can be found at the nearest rock climbing wall cheering on fellow climbers!
