The Alice S. Pfaelzer Conservatory is the culmination of Merit’s instructional continuum and represents the region’s most talented and driven student musicians. Our Conservatory Open House is a great opportunity for interested students to learn more, ask questions, and determine if Conservatory might be right for you.

There will be two sessions based on instrument:
- 12:30-1:30pm • Band, Jazz, Choir, & Piano
- 2:30-3:30pm • Strings & Guitar
About Conservatory
Merit School of Music’s Alice S. Pfaelzer Conservatory is one of the country’s most prestigious music programs for driven student musicians. Over 26 Saturdays during the academic school year, Conservatory students study with Chicago’s finest music educators and participate in performance ensembles, technique and music theory classes, and a variety of engaging electives. Founded with the mission to remove barriers to high-quality music education, Merit’s Conservatory is 100% tuition-free for all students.
Parking
