About Conservatory
Merit School of Music’s Alice S. Pfaelzer Conservatory is one of the country’s most prestigious music programs for driven student musicians. Over 26 Saturdays during the academic school year, Conservatory students study with Chicago’s finest music educators and participate in performance ensembles, technique and music theory classes, and a variety of engaging electives. Founded with the mission to remove barriers to high-quality music education, Merit’s Conservatory is 100% tuition-free for all students.
