Ben Jacobs

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Northwestern University
Bio:
Ben Jacobs is a double bassist and music educator in the Chicago area. Ben is currently pursuing a teaching certification in K-12 music at Northeastern Illinois University while maintaining a private double bass studio. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Northwestern University and a Master’s in Music Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where they studied Eurhythmics pedagogy. Ben is excited to share their love of music with the next generation! When not teaching or performing, you can find Ben enjoying a good board game with some friends or attempting to pet a stray cat.
