Bio:
John Wambach is a trombonist, composer, and educator in the Chicago area. As a private lesson teacher and teacher with several music institutions, he has a broad connection to Chicago’s student community. He primarily teaches low brass students and has had former students accepted to top collegiate jazz programs including The University of North Texas, Temple University, and Berklee College of Music. He has performed in a wide variety of venues, from the Jazz Showcase in Chicago to the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, DC. He has shared the stage with such legendary musicians as Steve Wilson, Delfeayo Marsalis, and Ted Nash.
