Na’liah and Yiqi Learn from the Masters
Over the past few weeks, several Merit students enjoyed the amazing opportunity to work with world-renowned musicians in masterclasses hosted by the Grant Park Music Festival in Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Anthony McGill Makes CSO Debut at Ravinia
Merit alum and principal clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic, Anthony McGill, took the stage at Ravinia on July 23 for his long-awaited Chicago Symphony Orchestra debut. His transformative solo performance of Copland’s “Clarinet Concerto” left the Ravinia crowd – including many members of the Merit family – on their feet for a well-deserved standing ovation. Andrea Salcedo Performs in Suma Flamenca Festival in Madrid
