Performathon is a two-day musical and fundraising extravaganza featuring the Alice S. Pfaelzer Tuition-free Conservatory. In 2018, the event was held on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24 and drew hundreds of music lovers, family members, and friends to Merit’s halls to hear amazing music performed by Merit’s most advanced students.

Performathon is the Merit Parent Association’s biggest fundraiser, and in 2018 it raised over $30,000 in support of Merit’s scholarship and financial aid fund — making high-quality music education accessible to thousands of children across Chicago.
