In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the CDC’s current recommendations, Merit School of Music has closed the Joy Faith Knapp Music Center and suspended all in-person activities until further notice. Virtual options are now available for private lessons, Early Childhood classes, and small group classes. We thank you for your understanding and continued support during this unprecedented situation.

Corporate & Foundation Gifts

Corporations

Merit and its corporate partners work together to strengthen our communities.

Our corporate partners support Merit in a multitude of ways:

  • Sponsorships of Merit events
  • Grants funding Merit’s educational programs
  • Corporate leaders serving on Merit’s Board of Trustees and Civic Advisory Council
  • Volunteering employee time for specialized projects

These partnerships help Merit give the lifetime gift of music learning to talented, motivated young musicians.

Foundations

Private and community foundation grants provide essential support for Merit’s stability, vitality, and continued success. Grants can support general operations or be directed to specific programs and activities. Foundation support allows Merit to provide necessary financial aid to talented, low-income children while continuing to improve and deepen programming and instruction for all our students.
