Designed specifically for acoustic chamber music, Merit’s Anne & Howard Gottlieb Hall provides a beautiful and elegant setting for any event where stellar acoustics are important to the success of an event. The two-level hall seats up to 350 people (250 on the main floor and a 100-seat balcony); or main level seats may be removed to create an open and airy space to accommodate cocktail receptions, banquets or other custom set-ups. The 1,000-sq. foot performance stage accommodates 80 seats.
Gottlieb Hall is ideal for musical/stage performances, lectures, master classes, recordings and auditions, and is equally suited to receptions, fundraisers, and “meet & greets” – any event where guests are encouraged to mix and mingle – with the option of using the elevated stage as a focal point.
Included in the rental package is use of the backstage storage area, a green room, and a Steinway D piano. Gottlieb Hall offers livestream capability, with A/V support and conference phones available upon request. Merit Facilities staff are available on-site to assist with any last-minute logistics to ensure the success of your event. Groups requiring supplemental facilities staff support may request it for an additional charge.
