As an artist, musician, educator, and business owner, my passion and creativity serve as a conduit for me to dive further into what I consider my life’s work: creating opportunities for BIWOC (black, indigenous and/or women of color) creatives, who are historically underrepresented in their respective industries. My body of work ranges from musical performances to painting to curating events and most recently, developing a line of coffee and tea.

“To have access to music is to have access to something personally meaningful, to a community, to healing, to cultural preservation, and to expression. That is what makes Merit so special.”
