What Our Students Are Saying

By giving me individualized attention to help address my music needs, gaps, and interests, my private teachers have inspired me, motivated me, and kept me engaged with music while elevating my level of performance and mastery of music.
Zahid, 13
Piano
It’s a real treat to be able to pick up my instrument and play the sounds in my head. I started as someone who knew a few chords, and through guidance in lessons and dedication to practice, I feel I’ve earned the title of guitarist. Private lessons at Merit have helped me to develop real skills and confidence. When people ask me if I can really play, I get excited to show them that I can!
