Merit Alums Anthony & Demarre McGill featured on NBC News

Merit alums, Anthony McGill and Demarre McGill, were recently selected as members of thegrio.com’s Class of 2013.  With their selection they were featured in a NBC News story which saw them returning to Merit to lead a Master Class and meet with some of Merit’s current students.  They were both selected for their success in the world of classical music, Anthony currently serves as the principal clarinet of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York City and Demarre serves as principle flute of the Seattle Symphony.  To see the various stories that aired on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and the Today Show click on the videos below.
