Conservatory Pianist Joshua Mhoon Performs on Windy City Live

 

 

Joshua Mhoon, a fourteen year old piano prodigy and Alice S. Pfaelzer Tuition-free Conservatory student, made an appearance on ABC7’s Windy City Live this month to perform and share about the power of a Merit music education.

Like all Tuition-free Conservatory students, Joshua studies theory, composition and performance during his Saturdays at Merit, but unlike many of his classmates, he has been exposed to world-class musical experiences with some of the world’s most renowned musicians, including serving as an ambassador for pianist Lang Lang’s International Music Foundation.

Next, Joshua will be participating in the 2018 WSL-Masterclass in Berlin, Germany this March to receive first-hand training from piano great Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy.
